MIM - Inspirations

M.  Its just a letter in the alphabet.  Yet it can be very beautiful. I took the time to paint a very beautiful M. Actually, I copied it from some medieval source, with slight variation.
Tree. This technique was sort of interesting, using wax pens, and a structure created by crushing the paper and unfolding it again.
Tree Pattern.  This used to be a carpet. Some Lady who I was showing my art one said this was my best picture. Although I certainly don't think so, I hope my art improved the wallpaper. It was fun painting this, even though it was a school task.
BlueRed. A schooltask, too, but I think it came out sort of interesting.
Ruin. Also for school. We were supposed to paint in a dotty fashion.  I made the best of it and chose an interesting scene to paint, at least. I don't think my teacher was pleased, since she always perferred still life pictures. However I had to draw so many bottles, vases, apples, and other boring items, that I thoroughly got to hate still lives.
Spiral. I probably was bored. Normally I am not bored, there are so many things to do. The spiral is warped. As if someone has bent it to its odd shape.
Sword.  This weapon is more than just a sharp piece of steel. It gives its wielder power to destroy good or evil. May that person have the wisdom to distingush between the two, and the responsibility to fight for a good cause or go in piece.
The Eye.  Watching. Observing. Being watched. Observing yourself, others, the world. Can you make sense of all that is seen? Can others, or you yourself make sense of you?
Bottles.  This was a group project done in my creativity group. Hot water made the bottles formable, so we that we could bend them into these shapes. Then we colored them using acrylic colors.
